Our ECE Resource Centre shares information to assist families in choosing a quality child care option. There are a variety of child care/early childhood education options. Choosing the one that is best for your child is one of the most important decisions that you will make.

Fee Susidies and Supplements
Fee subsidies provide financial assistance toward the cost of licensed child care for parents determined eligible by an income test. Application forms are available at child care centres or at the following location:

A tax-free monthly supplement is available to help eligible low and middle income families with children, under 7 years, with child care costs. Parents may either be working, in school or at home. Apply annually.

Before and After School Programs
Licensed child care is provided when school is out, for children ages 5-12. Some child care/early childhood education centres also offer school-age programs.
