Resource Lending Membership
• In order to borrow resources, a membership/liability form must be completed and a $25 security deposit paid.
• Upon cancellation of your membership you may:  1.  Request a donation to Childreach and a $25 tax receipt OR 2. Request a refund of $15 (****If you do not give us updated personal information within 3 months of your annual renewal date, the security deposit will automatically be donated to Childreach and a tax receipt will be mailed to the address on file.****)
• YOUR RESOURCE LENDING CARD MUST BE SHOWN AT EACH VISIT.
BORROWER AGREEMENT POLICIES:
• You are responsible for and agree to return borrowed items and their storage containers on time and in the same condition you received them in.
• Childreach reserves the right to cancel your membership if our policies are not followed.

ECE Resource Centre Hours
ECE Resource Centre - Second Floor Hours
Tuesday & Thursday  12 noon to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday & Friday  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday*   9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  *Closed Saturdays of Holiday Weekends.  Hours may vary during the summer months and December holidays - check the "news"!

Resources and Loan Periods
Books – 2 weeks (renewable)
Videos, Kits, *Toys, Other (felt stories, cassettes, activity bags, CD’s) – 2 weeks
*Large Play Equipment – 4 weeks maximum
Seasonal Items – 1 week
*Limit of 2 toys per membership

Overdue Items
• Overdue resource materials fines are:
- Kits - $2/day/item. Maximum fine = $6 for each kit.
- Large Play Equipment - $5/day/item. Maximum fine = $15 for each item.
- Other Resources - $0.25/day/item. Maximum fine = $3 for each item.
• There is a $2 fine for not checking the items on the inventory list in the resource kits.
• If you owe a fine, you can not borrow additional items until it is paid.
 

On Hold
• Instructional videos may be reserved for a specific date.

Missing Pieces
• Loan items may have an inventory list identifying all materials with the items.  You are responsible for checking all materials listed.
• If a piece is missing when you return the item, there is a $1 charge for each piece.  You will be refunded when the piece is returned.
• If the item is lost or damaged, you will be charged the replacement cost.

Cleanliness
• Please wash or clean all items before returning them.
