At Childreach, we believe nature connection is essential infrastructure for resilience, not a luxury. And we’re making sure London's kids get that same vital experience through our WILD CHILD Outdoor Playgroups.
 
Why WILD CHILD is Important for London's Families
 
We've seen the transformational effects of outdoor play on 10,562 children over the past decade. But here in London, a rapidly growing city with 65,000 children under 12, the need is bigger than ever.
 
Did you know 1 in 5 London families live below the poverty line? Income inequality creates real barriers to simple, enriching experiences like outdoor play.
 
That's where WILD CHILD steps in! We actively remove barriers like cost, transportation, and stigma, ensuring every child has equitable access to nature's vast, exciting playground. WILD CHILD is FREE and offered 3 times all year round regardless of the weather!

The biggest risk is keeping kids indoors. When kids get outdoors with us, they thrive:

  • They meet developmental milestones and succeed in school.

  • They form healthy relationships and build essential social skills.

  • They move their bodies and make connections to the world around them.
