A visit to a playgroup is about having fun together.  Explore, create, read, sing and build with your children!

We welcome all families with children 0 to 6 years old six days a week. Our free playgroups offer a range of services and resources, where you can:

  • Join fun activities such as reading, storytelling, sing-alongs and games.

  • Get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development.

  • Find out about other family services in your community.

  • Connect with other families with young children.

What To Expect

To ensure a fun and safe visit for everyone, we kindly ask all visitors to:

  • Stay home if you or your child(ren) feel unwell.

  • We are a mask-friendly environment. We ask that everyone remain respectful whether or not they choose to wear a mask.

  • Wash and sanitize hands often. Sanitizing stations are available in the playroom.

  • No food or beverage consumption allowed in the playroom.

  • Limit the use of cell phones.

Your role as a parent or caregiver in our programs:

  • Enjoy the program with your child(ren). Our program is a play-with-your-child experience that provides you opportunities to engage in the space together.

  • Supervise your child(ren). You are expected to play with or be alongside your child(ren) at all times.

  • Share and respect the space. Respect time limits in the snack area, encourage respectful interactions, tidy up together, and stay home when you are sick.

Our early years educators are here to:

  • Connect with you, answer your parenting questions, and provide support when you need it.

  • Provide a warm and welcoming space.

  • Role model positive parent-child engagement.

  • Create an enriched play space and engaging invitations to play.
