There are many volunteer opportunities at Childreach; some of which require a commitment of 3 hours per week and some that are more flexible. All volunteers receive an orientation, training and ongoing support. Due to COVID-19, we have put a pause on accepting new volunteers in our programs to limit in-person contact for health and safety reasons. When we are able to welcome volunteers back in our spaces, we will post those opportunities here.

If you would like to be put on our contact list for volunteer opportunities, please email us.

Childreach is very fortunate to have volunteers who join us from Hutton House, Community Living London, both school boards, Western, Fanshawe and the broader community.

Our volunteers make a huge difference in our library and playgroups. They perform inventory checks on returned kits and develop early years learning resources for resale in the Resource Centre. (If you or your organization are in need of die cut shapes and are short on time, just give us a call at 519-434-3644 x602, and our volunteers will get it done for you!) In our playroom and in our community playgroups, volunteers are simply an extension of our team as they interact with the children, parents and caregivers and keep the environment conducive to playing, learning and growing!

We acknowledge the incredible efforts of our volunteers, and we THANK YOU! You make a positive difference in the work that we do and in the lives of our families. We couldn’t do what we do without you.

I like playing with the kids and meeting new people. I also like helping to set up the playroom before the kids come.
