Wild Child: Earth Day

Today is Earth Day!

A chance to celebrate our amazing planet and appreciate all the gifts it gives.

Take time outside to slow down, notice nature's beauty, be grateful with your little people.

Families play in the forest. Some balance on logs, some read stories, some collect treasures.

This Earth Day take time to slow down, notice nature’s beauty, and be grateful.

Try these simple activities:

  • Find a natural treasure

  • Sit together

  • Read together (outside)

  • Balance on something

  • Play in mud

  • Share a snack (outside)

  • Take a walk

  • Find a creature

This week our, in addition to our regular free outdoor play adventure, our Saturday program will have gloves and garbage bags available for anyone interested in helping to clean up the special natural spaces that we enjoy. You can join us by registering at childreach.eventbrite.ca.
