Take a sound walk - take and early morning or later evening walk and listen to the sounds you hear. Can you spot who is making the sound?
Build a birds nest - read the story "Bird Builds A Nest" by Martin Jenkins or watch the story here. Can you build a nest using natural materials just like real birds do? With no glue or tape! How strong can you make your nest? What happens if it rains? Test it with a watering can! Will your nest stay together in the wind? Test it with a hairdryer!
