Today’s Wintermission challenge is to catch snowflakes with your tongue!

Do you remember building snow forts as a child on those magical days when temperature and snowfall collide to make perfect packing snow?

Seek out a local stream or pond, and spend some time enjoying the natural sounds of the water. 

When you walk outside, do you look up? Notice the trees, and find the tallest one.  

Grab some paper, make a boat, and see if you can sail it down the streams of water washing down the sidewalks or flat it in the puddles.

Today's wintermission challenge is to enjoy a warm drink outside.

This surprise dusting of snow is perfect for writing messages and drawing pictures.

Have you ever dropped maple keys on a windy day and watched them twirl? Or tossed leaves into the air and watched the wind carry them away? 

It's getting colder out and looking more like winter every day.  Don't let this deter your family from spending time outdoors.

Winter has returned, and with it, the need to layer.

For today's mission, try to find leaves of  different shapes or colors or sizes.
